In any warehouse, protecting your goods during handling is important. Every damaged item can cost your business both time and money, which is where the IPSA comes in. Keep reading to find out why Ashley recommends the IPSA as an effective solution for safe materials handling.

Why choose the IPSA? A Q&A with our Sales Team Leader

Hi Ashley, can you let us know your top pick?

My top pick is the IPSA, which is the Invicta Pallet Shock Absorber.

See the product page

Can you tell us a bit about what it does and why it’s useful?

The IPSA is designed for the safe collection and removal of goods. It helps you safely handle goods of different sizes, whether you’re working at ground level or up in the racking. What’s really useful is how it limits fork protrusion when you’re handling smaller pallets, which really helps with material handling in tight spaces.

What makes this product stand out from other options?

It has a really practical design. We offer different sizes to match what you need, from our compact IPSA-100/150 to the larger IPSA-120 X 400. Each one comes with high-visibility hazard tape and a secure magnetic attachment system. The side returns keep everything steady during operation and because it’s quick to attach, you can get straight to work.

How does it improve safety and efficiency?

The IPSA helps prevent damage to goods during handling – it’s simple but effective. When you add up the cost of damaged stock and delays, an attachment like this makes a real difference to your business costs. Operators can also quickly adjust to different pallet sizes, which keeps things moving smoothly throughout the day.

Which industries or situations is it best suited for?

We see it used most in warehouses and racking setups, but it’s also really valuable for jobs where you’re handling aerosols and flammable products. Our models range from 150mm to 400mm in height, so you can choose the size that works best for your specific handling needs.

What about additional features?

The IPSA comes with two to three magnets for secure attachment to the forks, plus side returns for extra stability. You can choose between different sizes depending on your needs – whether you’re dealing with significant overhang and need the 400mm version or prefer the 150mm for lighter work.

Any examples of the IPSA in action?

One great example is Altegra, who supplied The Range with 60 pairs of the IPSA. They needed a way for their forklift drivers to protect products from damage during picking – everything from the outer packaging to the products themselves. Having that many units in daily use really shows how reliable they are in a busy environment.

Thanks, Ashley!
